Rostselmash plans to develop cooperation with Canada
On the 18th of May delegation of the embassy of Canada in Russia in the head of with ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary John Sloan and the management of EDC in the head of Sherry Noble visited Rostselmash Company. The delegation was met by the president of industrial union «Novoe Sodrujestvo» and association «Rosagromash» Constantin Babkin and the first deputy director – commercial director Ilya Chelpanov. During the meeting the parties have discussed the questions of further cooperation and the necessity of the development of future cooperation.
«Rostselmash is present on the market of Canada since 2007 when Company for the first time in Russian history had managed to purchase the assets of Canadian tractor plant Buhler, - said the president of industrial union «Novoe Sodrujestvo» and association «Rosagromash» Constantin Babkin, - Today the 50% of production of our North American facilities are sold in Canada and USA. Share of Russia and CIS countries is about 20%. But this market is the most prospective for us. It has a great potential. We have discussed with EDC management some new projects, our cooperation will become stronger due to the Canadian assistance. We also hope that Rusia will have more clear and appropriate economy, directed to the support of agricultural products manufactures. In this case our machinery will be more demanded.
During the visit guests have explored the production facilities and examined technical and economical potential of the company. «On my point of view Rostselmash is an excellent example of efficient and mutual beneficial cooperation of Russian company and Canada, - We can see that there are 2 flows of products – import and export. I hope that this cooperation will become stronger», - said the ambassador of Canada John Sloan.

In 2007 Rostselmash has purchased the assets of Canadian company Buhler-Versatile producing tractors. Today company model range includes 4 tractor series with power from 190 hp to 575 hp. In 2009 Rostselmash enlarged own Versatile product range with purchasing of American company Red Ball. Since that time the product line includes 4 models of mounted sprayers and 1 self-propelled. In 2011 Rostselmash acquired the producer of tillage and seeding techniques Ezee-On Manufacturing. Now Rostselmash Company is ready to offer to it’s customers the full line of agricultural equipment for all kinds of field operations.
